  • You're 18 to 55.
  • You have a PAN in your own name.
  • You have an Aadhaar for e-KYC.

Documents salaried applicants need

Three things, and you have the core of it:

  2. Aadhaar for e-KYC
  3. Bank account details

You'll also take a live selfie in the app. Nothing to print, photocopy or courier, and no branch to visit.

Income proof

  • A recent salary slip
  • A bank statement showing salary credits

Personal loan without a salary slip

How much loan can I get on my salary?

It depends on how much of your salary is already spoken for; the lender decides, but you can size a sensible EMI yourself before you apply.

A simple rule many people use: keep all your EMIs together to about a fifth of your take-home pay, so a bad month doesn't become a missed payment. Here's what that looks like on three common salaries, with no other EMIs:

Monthly take-home Example loan EMI at 16% p.a. Share of take-home
₹25,000 ₹50,000 over 12 months ₹4,537 about 18%
₹30,000 ₹1,00,000 over 24 months ₹4,896 about 16%
₹50,000 ₹2,00,000 over 24 months ₹9,793 about 20%

How to apply on Rinn

Four steps, all on your phone, in a few spare minutes between work and home.

  1. Download Rinn. Get it from Google Play, check the developer is Rinncrest Financial Technologies Private Limited, and verify your mobile number.
  2. Tell us about your job. Your employer, your monthly salary and how much would help.
  3. Complete your KYC. PAN, Aadhaar e-KYC and a live selfie, all inside the app.
  4. Review your offer. The lender reviews your application within minutes. If it makes you an offer, you see it in full before you decide, and if you accept, the money goes straight to your bank account.

What you see before you sign

Every offer comes with a Key Fact Statement (KFS): one page with your amount, annual interest rate, EMI, APR, every charge and your repayment dates. The APR is the all-in yearly cost, including charges, so it's the number to compare between lenders.

A charge that isn't in your KFS can't be added later without your explicit consent. And if you change your mind after the money arrives, you can exit during the cooling-off period stated in your KFS by repaying the principal and proportionate APR, without a prepayment penalty.

Which loan app is best for salaried people?

The best salaried loan app is one you can check before you share a single document. Five things to look for, on Rinn or anywhere else:

  • A named, RBI-regulated lender. You should know who is lending before you sign. On Rinn, it's our lending partner, named in your KFS.
  • The full cost upfront.A KFS with the APR, not just a monthly rate.
  • No upfront fee.No genuine lender asks for money to release a loan.
  • The real app.On Google Play, Rinn's developer is Rinncrest Financial Technologies Private Limited.
  • Repayments to the lender only.Your EMIs should go to the lender's account, never to a person, a personal UPI ID or in cash.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum salary for a personal loan on Rinn?

There's no fixed minimum salary to apply. The lender checks your income, alongside what you already repay, when it reviews your application and makes the final decision on every application.

Can I get a personal loan in my first job or on probation?

You can apply. The lender may ask for proof of your current salary, such as your first salary slip or the credit in your bank account, and it decides whether to make you an offer. If you are new to credit, start with a smaller amount than you think you need.

Can I get a personal loan without a salary slip?

Possibly. A salary slip is one way to show your income, not the only one. The lender tells you inside the app exactly what to upload, and our page on a personal loan without a salary slip explains the options.

Do government employees get different terms from private employees?

No. Rinn doesn't run separate schemes by employer, so you apply on the same conditions whoever pays your salary. The lender sets your rate after it reviews your application, and shows it in your Key Fact Statement before you accept.

Can I get a personal loan if I already pay other EMIs?

You can apply, and the lender decides after reviewing your application. A simple rule many people use is to keep all your EMIs together to about a fifth of your take-home pay, so subtract your existing EMIs first. The personal loan EMI calculator helps you check the numbers.

Is a salaried personal loan on Rinn instant?

The lender reviews your application within minutes. Whether you get an offer, and the amount, rate and terms, is the lender's decision, and you see the full offer in your Key Fact Statement before you accept.

Does checking my eligibility affect my credit score?

No. Checking your eligibility on our website is free and doesn't involve a credit-bureau enquiry. You can check it with the eligibility checker before you decide to apply.

Can I apply if I have never had a loan or a credit card?

Yes, you can apply. Having no credit history doesn't automatically rule you out, and meeting the eligibility conditions lets you apply. The lender makes the final decision on every application.

Ready when you are

Checking your eligibility on our website is free and doesn't involve a credit-bureau enquiry. When you're ready, the Rinn app takes it from there.
