Raise a complaint
Something has gone wrong with Rinn, the personal loan app from Rinncrest, or with a loan you took through it. You’ll be heard, you’ll get a written answer, and complaining will never count against you.
Grievance officers
Write to Rinncrest about the Rinn app or our service, and to your lender about the loan itself. If you’re not sure, write to us: we’ll pass it on and tell you we have.

Which level is right for you
About the app, your application, your data, or how you were treated by Rinn — start at Levels 1 and 2. That's us.
About the loan itself — your interest rate, EMI, a charge you don't recognise, your statement, your credit report, or how you were contacted about an overdue payment — the lender answers for these. Your loan is provided by our lending partner, an RBI-regulated NBFC or bank (the regulated entity, or RE); Rinncrest runs the app as a Lending Service Provider (LSP) and does not lend. Go to the lender's Grievance Officer (listed above), or write to us if it's easier. We'll pass it on and tell you we have.
What to include in your complaint
- your registered mobile number,
- your loan or application number, if you have one,
- what happened, and when,
- what you'd like done about it,
- any screenshots, call details or transaction references.
Never include your OTP, PIN, password or card details — we will never ask for them. Send it once, to one level at a time. Sending the same complaint to every level at once slows things down rather than speeding them up.
Send your complaint online
Your complaint goes to our Grievance Officer. If it’s about the loan itself, we’ll pass it to your lender the same working day and tell you we have.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your complaint and give you a reference number.
- We look into it and may contact you for more detail.
- We send you a written response within 30 days, saying what we've found and what we're doing about it.
- If you're not satisfied, or we haven't replied within 30 days, you can go to the next level, or straight to RBI (Level 4) for complaints about the loan.
Complaining is free, and it will never affect how you are treated, your application or your loan.
If it’s not a complaint about us
- Data-protection concerns
- Write to grievance@rinncrest.in about how your personal data has been collected, used or kept.
- A fake or unregistered loan app
- See how to report a fake loan app or fraud.
- Fraud, threats or harassment
- Call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in (opens in a new tab). Then tell us.
Frequently asked questions
Who do I complain to if the problem is with my loan, not the app?
Complain to the Grievance Officer of the lender named in your Key Fact Statement. Their details are in the grievance officers table above. If you are not sure which of us your complaint belongs with, write to Rinncrest and we will pass it on and tell you we have.
How long will Rinncrest take to answer my complaint?
Rinncrest sends a final written response within 30 days. We give you a reference number, and we may contact you for more detail while we look into it. If you have not heard back in 30 days, you can move to the next level.
Can I complain to the RBI?
Yes. If your complaint is not resolved within 30 days of the lender receiving it, or you're unhappy with the reply, you can complain to the RBI Integrated Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in or call 14448.
Does it cost anything to complain?
No. Complaining to Rinncrest is free, and so is a complaint to the RBI. You do not need a lawyer for either.
Will complaining affect my loan or my application?
No. A complaint will never affect how you are treated, your application or your loan.
What should I do if someone is threatening or harassing me over a loan?
Call 1930 or report it at cybercrime.gov.in, then tell us at grievance@rinncrest.in. Fraud, threats and harassment are not ordinary complaints, so use those routes first and keep any messages or call records.
How do I report a fake loan app that uses the Rinncrest name?
Follow the steps in how to report a fake loan app or fraud. Our app is Rinn on Google Play; there is no "Rinncrest app".
Our Grievance Redressal Policy
Our full Grievance Redressal Policy will be published here once our Board has approved it. Until then, the contacts, the 30-day response commitment and the escalation steps on this page apply to every complaint.
