How can we help?

Whether you’ve just taken a loan through Rinn, the personal loan app from Rinncrest, or you’re close to your final EMI, the answers are here. And if you’d rather talk to someone, a real person is a tap away.

How to repay your Rinn loan

You only ever repay the lender — the RBI-regulated NBFC or bank that lends to you — through Rinn or the auto-debit mandate you set up. Payments go into an account in the lender’s name. Never to an individual, a personal UPI ID, a QR code someone sends you, or in cash.

Your EMI amount, due dates and number of instalments are in your Key Fact Statement (KFS) — the short summary of your loan you see before you accept — and in your repayment schedule. Both are in Rinn.

Before each due date

  • Keep the EMI amount in your account the day before the due date.
  • If your due date falls on a bank holiday, check the date shown in Rinn.
  • If you know a payment will be short, tell us before the due date. It gives you more room.

A payment or mandate needs attention?

Contact support to change your bank account or mandate, ask about a failed debit, or check a payment that isn’t showing yet. Keep your transaction reference. Never pay again because an unverified caller tells you to.

If a payment is missed: how you’ll be treated

Money gets tight. If you’re worried about an EMI, tell us early — ideally before the due date. Open Rinn and tap Help, or contact support. There’s no judgement. We’ll take your situation to the lender, which decides what options, if any, are available. We can’t promise a particular outcome, but an early conversation leaves more room than a late one.

Please don’t borrow from another app to pay this EMI. It usually makes the next month harder.

Late-payment charges and any bank-bounce charge may apply, exactly as set out in your KFS. Your KFS and loan agreement are the final word on charges. Nobody may charge you anything that isn’t in them.

Who may contact you

If an EMI is overdue, the Rinn team may contact you on the lender’s behalf. Rinncrest manages reminders and collections for its lending partners with its own staff. It isn’t a debt collection agency, and no outside agency is used.

Your rights, whatever your account status

  • Identification: anyone contacting you must say who they are and who they represent. You can ask a visiting agent for identity proof and the lender’s authorisation letter.
  • Respect: no threats, abuse, intimidation or humiliation.
  • Privacy: nobody may discuss your loan with family, friends, colleagues or your employer to pressure you. No public shaming. Rinn doesn’t access your contacts.
  • Payment safety: never pay cash, an individual or a personal UPI ID. You can ask for details of the amount due and how it is made up.

If someone breaks these rules

Keep the date, time, number and screenshots. Raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, Bipasa Adhikary, at grievance@rinncrest.in or +91 82309 07903. If you’re threatened or harassed, call 1930.

If your complaint is not resolved within 30 days of the lender receiving it, or you’re unhappy with the reply, you can complain to the RBI Integrated Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in or call 14448.

A missed or late EMI can appear on your credit report. Rinn and Rinncrest don’t report to the credit bureaus; the lender does. Your loan and your credit report

Your loan and your credit report

A loan repaid well is one of the clearest ways to build a credit history. The lender reports how your loan is repaid to the credit bureaus: TransUnion CIBIL, Experian, Equifax and CRIF High Mark. Rinn and Rinncrest don’t report to the bureaus.

The record includes your credit enquiry (made only with your separate, explicit consent), the new loan, your repayments and its closure. We can’t promise or predict how any individual score will change.

If something looks wrong

  1. Collect your loan account number, the entry that’s wrong and proof, such as your NOC or payment confirmation.
  2. Contact support. We’ll raise it with the lender, which is responsible for correcting what it reported.
  3. You can also dispute the entry directly with the bureau, or use the complaint and escalation path.

Only incorrect information can be corrected. Accurate records, including genuine late payments, can’t be removed on request.

Changed your mind? The cooling-off period

The cooling-off period is a short window after your loan is disbursed when you can change your mind, for any reason, on simple terms.

You can exit the loan during the cooling-off period stated in your KFS by repaying the principal and proportionate APR, without a prepayment penalty.

Your KFS sets out the period and how the proportionate amount is worked out. Check it before you pay.

If you can’t find the option or something doesn’t look right, contact support before the cooling-off period ends. Once it ends, normal early-repayment terms apply.

Paying early or closing your loan

Paying early or closing your loan

Foreclosure means paying off the whole outstanding loan before the final EMI. Part-prepayment means paying off part of what you owe, on top of your EMI. Both are subject to the terms set by the lender in your loan agreement.

Your Key Fact Statement and loan agreement say whether you can foreclose or part-prepay, from when, and whether any charge applies. If it’s not clear, ask our support team before you pay.

Check the outstanding principal, interest due and any applicable charge. Pay only into the lender’s account through Rinn. Keep the payment confirmation and check your revised schedule or closure status.

If you’ve just taken the loan, read about the cooling-off period. After final repayment, check your loan closure and NOC.

Closing your loan and getting your NOC

Your loan closes when everything due under it has been paid — all EMIs, plus any outstanding charges set out in your Key Fact Statement.

A No Objection Certificate (NOC) — sometimes called a no-dues or loan-closure certificate — is the lender’s written confirmation that you owe nothing more on the loan.

After the final payment

  1. Keep your payment confirmation and check that your loan is closed.
  2. Ask support about your NOC. Check your name, loan account number, loan amount, closure date and that nothing is outstanding.
  3. Save a copy somewhere other than your phone.
  4. Check your mandate. If it is still active, or money is debited after closure, contact support with the transaction reference.
  5. Check that your credit report reflects closure. If an entry is wrong, keep your NOC and raise a dispute.

Closing your loan doesn’t delete your account. Your account and data

Your account, mobile number and bank details

To change your registered mobile number, email, address, name or bank details, contact support. If you’ve lost access to your old number, tell the team so they can guide you through identity verification.

Never share your OTP. Nobody from Rinn or the lender will ever ask for it — not by call, message or email.

Your data and permissions

Rinn asks for your location once, when you apply; your camera only for your KYC selfie; and a file picker only when you upload a document. It doesn't access your contacts, SMS, call logs, photo gallery, list of installed apps or background location. You can review permissions anytime in your phone's settings.

You can ask what personal data is held about you, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, withdraw consent for the future, or request deletion where the law doesn’t require data to be kept. Write to support@rinncrest.in from your registered email address. If you’re unhappy with how it’s handled, raise a complaint.

You can ask to delete your Rinn account at any time. If you have a loan that’s still running, the account stays open until the loan is closed, because you need it to see your schedule and make payments.

Use our eligibility checker. Three quick questions give you an indicative answer, with no credit-bureau enquiry. It isn't an approval.
